How I Work

A clear process, handled by me directly. No improvisation, no surprises. Here's what to expect if we work together.

What I actually do

I don't just hand you a design. I help you build a piece that sells, and that you can measure.

I don't draw something that's nice to look at. I design a piece that stays readable down to the last line, built so the person who gets it actually reads it and takes a step. That way what you put out there is genuinely testing your product, not just looking good.

That doesn't mean I make ugly things. Most of the time a piece built to get read is also pleasant to look at. But the priority is one thing only: that it works. So expect more text than average, and no creative gimmicks for their own sake.

Expect more text than average. It's text that sells.

My method

For three years I ran the graphics department at Metodo Merenda, one of the largest direct response marketing firms in Italy. What stayed with me is the method: transparency and order.

A cloud folder, always yours

For every project I open a shared folder you can reach at any time: drafts, files, reasoning. You have everything in front of you without having to ask.

You hear back from me

Communication goes through me, out in the open. No department to disappear behind: you always know where we stand.

Every choice has a reason

You get the work with the reason behind each decision: fonts, spacing, hierarchy. If something is there, it's there to help you sell.

How we work together

It works really well. But it takes two.

The testimonials below say I'm good to work with. That's true, but it isn't automatic: it comes from a simple deal, on equal footing.

What I give you

  • Direct communication: you hear back from me.
  • Full transparency: a cloud folder with everything, reachable at any time.
  • A flawless file, delivered as promised.
  • I respect your time: I get straight to the point.

What I ask of you

  • Clear, written instructions, so I don't miss a single one of your words.
  • The materials I need, when I need them.
  • A little breathing room: the best work doesn't come together in a last-minute rush.
  • The time and attention the project deserves.

This isn't rigidity, it's mutual respect. I'm here to bring you a result, and a result gets built by two.

The Process

From the first email to the delivered file.

01 5 minutes

Questionnaire & Quote

  • You fill out a form with the project details, goals, and materials required
  • I assess the project's potential and whether we're a fit
  • You get a detailed quote within 48 hours

Output: a detailed quote, clear and with no surprises.

02 30-45 min

Strategy Call

  • We talk directly, you and I, about goals, tone, and visual strategy
  • We define the timeline and the project milestones
  • I open the shared cloud folder for the file exchange

To get started I need the message. If you already have the copy, great; if you don't have it yet, we build it together before the design.

All the material goes through the cloud folder. No WeTransfer, no email attachments scattered around.
03

Design & First Draft

  • I create the layout on the copy received and the agreed strategy
  • I deliver a commented PDF, with the reasoning behind every visual choice
  • Every decision is tied to the conversion goal
Delays in sending the copy or feedback push back the delivery date.
04

Revisions

  • We work in two phases: first the substantial changes (layout, direction), then the refinement (typos, colors, details)
  • Send feedback however you prefer: commented PDF, Loom video, or a bulleted list by email
  • The goal is to hit the target early, not start over every time

How many rounds are included is spelled out in your quote, before we start. No surprises.

05

Delivery

  • I deliver the files ready for print or web
  • If you also need the source files, that can be done: we agree on it at the start
  • Commercial rights to the finished materials are yours
  • After delivery I stay available for minor adjustments

Frequently Asked Questions

My guarantee

If the first draft doesn't reflect the strategy we agreed on during the call, I redo it at no extra cost. My process is built to hit the target on the first try. The included revisions are for refinement, not for starting over.

An honest note: I guarantee the professional quality of the design and that the process is respected. Commercial results depend on many factors (copy, offer, market) that go beyond the layout. What I control, I do at the highest level.

By application only

Have a serious project that needs to pay off?

I take on a few projects at a time and handle them myself, start to finish. If you think we could do good work together, apply: tell me what you're working on and I'll reply personally.
