How much does a professional website cost?

Quick answer: A professional website with Keryx Design starts at 2,400 euros. The price depends on the number of pages, on who writes the copy, and on the goal: an institutional showcase takes less work than a site that has to generate quote requests every week. Before you gather quotes, clarify what the site has to do: it changes everything, price included. To talk it through: contact.

The three variables that move the price

The number of pages. A five-page site and a forty-page catalog are different projects: every page has to be thought out, written and built.

Who writes the copy. The most underrated line in quotes. If you bring the copy, the designer lays it out; if the person building the site has to write it, the work grows, and the number with it. Copy is also the part that decides whether the site produces requests.

The goal. An institutional showcase presents the business. A site that has to generate quote requests needs structure, an offer and proof. This is where quotes diverge the most.

Showcase and lead-generating site: the difference shows up in the quote

Showcase siteLead-generating site
Jobpresent the business to people already looking for youturn visitors into contact requests
Copytells who you are and what you doanswers the doubts of someone choosing a supplier
Structureinstitutional pagesa path toward the contact form: offer, proof, call to action
How it is judgedlook and completenessrequests arriving each month

If you already have a polished site that stays silent, the problem is usually in the right-hand column: the offer and the call to action are missing. The typical case is told in I have a beautiful website that doesn't sell.

When the page works, every lead costs less

An example with numbers. A construction company was investing in online advertising and paying 25 euros per lead. Keryx Design redesigned the landing page along direct-response lines: same ad spend, different page.

REAL CASE
Cost per lead dropped from 25 to 6 euros: over 4 times the leads at the same spend. The price of a web project is read next to numbers like this.

Maintenance, copy, timing: the costs nobody puts on the front page

And after delivery? Domain, hosting and updates carry a cost the quote must state: what the first year includes and what you pay afterward, with the figures. A cost discovered once the site is delivered wrecks the budget and the relationship.

Who writes the copy? Ask in writing, before you sign. With Keryx Design it is decided in the brief: you can bring your own copy or hand that to the project too. Davide Filippini was a copywriter before becoming a designer, and on a site that has to generate requests the copy weighs as much as the layout.

How long does it take? For websites the date is written into the quote. The variable that stretches timelines is almost always material arriving late: copy, photos, answers. Typical timelines for other materials are in how long does design take.

Before you gather quotes, write a single line: "the site has to produce X every month." Then compare every quote against that line, before you compare on price.

If you already have the site, fixing it may be enough

Many sites that stay silent can be fixed without rebuilding everything, but first you need a diagnosis. The Feasibility Analysis costs $147: we review the site (or the plan for the new one) and your goal, then tell you in writing what we would do, at what cost and with what realistic expectations. If the project goes ahead, the $147 is deducted from the deposit.
